This is your group if you are a relatively new rider. You enjoy riding single-track that has small obstacles but larger ones are intimidating. You are learning how to climb and descend effectively.

Been riding for a while now, are confident on a bike and love challenging yourself. You are comfortable riding singletrack that has various obstacles. Descents are fun as long as they contain obstacles which are easily and visibly rollable.

You love to ride your bike on all terrain and all obstacles are welcome challenges. You are able to climb technical singletrack. Long descents with obstacles are exciting for you!

New to adaptive riding or already riding and want to improve your skills and gain more confidence, everyone is welcome. Led by Head Coach and guide Sierra Roth. Trained support riders in all adaptive groups .
*Sierra will divide the group accordingly if needed prior to arrival

Since launching Gravity MTB in 2016, thwy have expanded and offer more resources to learn with them, progress as a rider and have more fun on bikes! The Gravity MTB Garage is a one-of-a-kind mountain bike hub offering MTB Coaching, Enduro and Downhill Race Training, a High Performance MTB Training Centre, Suspension Service Centre, Forbidden Bike Co. Factory Demo Centre, and retail store.
Community and fun times on bikes is what they live by, so whether you are looking to upgrade your MTB skills, demo a Forbidden Bike, to get stronger and conditioned for your riding, need a suspension service or just want to hangout for a chat about the trails while browsing our retail store, stop by when your in town they'd love to see you!
We are stoked to be working with Gravity guides for all our rides in Cumberland. They will take care of all the good times on bikes so you don't have to!! Our guides are driven to share their passion for mountain biking, their community and the trails with us at RIDELAB. Total: 18 pedal, 3 Ebike & 2 adaptive groups
We are honoured to be working with Island Mountain Rides (IMR) for all our ride plans. IMR offers professionally guided mountain biking tours on the trails of Vancouver Island, with 20+ years of local knowledge so we are in great hands for amazing time!
During the registration process you will let us know what level of rider you are which helps us plan the guides before you get there. Our curated rides are broken up into the levels you see above, Senders, Givers, Cruisers, Ebike and Adaptive.
At the event on the first night you will sign up for the ride you want to go on the next day based on the descriptions on the boards. Post ride you will then sign up for the ride you want to do the next day & so on. Ride plans and groups are all flexible so we can help you find the right group.
You might be on trail from 9-3 but some of this is watching a pro demo a feature, sessioning a slab, maybe a dip in the lake, chatting with your group or having lunch.
