Karen grew up on Vancouver’s infamous North Shore, and has been in and around the bike industry for over 20 years. She’s super strong on a bike and loves adventuring in her backyard & the Coast Mountains. She dabbles in some mountain bike racing, and in general, just loves to get after it.  She has a background and formal degree in Tourism & Marketing and has years of experience executing events and creating kick ass and innovative community fundraisers. Her current role for the past 12 years is Marketing Manager at BC Bike Race.

BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Lisa's diverse background is primarily in event management with a degree in Tourism & Recreation which is an excellent fit for taking on this new all women’s festival. Lisa is calm, collected, and always positive no matter the situation! She has over 20 years of event experience wearing many different hats which includes her current role with BC Bike Race as Business Manager . Lisa has been mountain bike riding for many years and recently added gravel to her portfolio to add some diversity to her forest escapes!

Squamish 2023/2024

Debora is no stranger to engaging audiences,  over the past 10 years she has been a featured speaker at FEATCanada (Fascinating Expeditions and Adventures), she’s addressed audiences at both Banff international mountain film festival and Vancouver international film festivals asking: “where are the women??!! In adventure film”, she’s an ambassador for Ovarian Cancer Canada calling on parliament for much needed funding for research, and has been a panel facilitator and moderator for She Summits’ Awaken and Activate series.

20 years of passion for two-wheeled adventures has led Dan to where he is today – on a quest to share his love and knowledge of mountain biking with others. He has honed his teaching skills on the trails of Squamish, the Sea to Sky region, and Vancouver’s North Shore.   Dan is a Level 2 PMBI (Professional Mountain bike instructor training ) certified instructor. Dan brings a fun and relaxed energy to every lesson he teaches.

Kelly has spent the last decade working in sports team management and operations and possesses a unique perspective on sport gained from her work with Olympic and grassroots athletes. With a ton of positive energy, enthusiasm and athlete first mentality, Kelly dedicates herself to fostering shared excitement and a wholehearted commitment to the success of others. She finds joy in the mountains, especially on her bike with her dog Beau.

Riding for 17 years, loves to push herself and if that involves a OTB she's ok with that :) She loves gravel, cyclocross and enduro as well.  Erica never stops, she volunteers at her school teaching kids to ride.  She works for gravity MTB on the side coaching, mentoring for Ride Like A Girl, works at BC Bike Race as a bike patrol ambassador stoking up the riders! She was a big part of Cumberland's first womens enduro organizing team.

A Canadian Photographer based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Taco and tequila lover passionate about making  images that make you stop scrolling. She's  happiest when she's outdoors with her camera in hand, exploring new places and meeting new people.  Landscape photography was her first love.  With her personal love for action sports naturally she progressed into a career in sports photography. She likes to blend landscape and action photography.

Riding since the mid 90's and continually seeking out new adventures on his bike.  Life-long passion for photography, outdoors and sport is very evident in the photos he takes.  Formerly a tech professional before switching to a more creative industry allowed him the ability to combine his passions with a pay cheque.  Ten Plus years in the Mountain Bike Industry, working with almost every brand out there, from the original OG's to the new ones that surface yearly.  He's helped bring some big brands to BC Bike Race over the last 2 years with his role in marketing there.

Andrea loves to capture the essence of action sports and the passion of those involved. She's been fortunate enough to snap some of the most exciting events such as: Crankworx, Darkhorse Invitational and the BC and Canada downhill mountain bike championships... as well as RIDELAB.  She has a diverse set of skills that she can apply to media campaigns, brand shoots or athlete management.

Ronia is an action and nature/wildlife photographer based out of Squamish, BC. She transitioned into photography after moving to Canada where she was exposed to the endlessly dynamic landscapes and outdoor activities of the sea to sky corridor. Ronia focuses on photographing moments that inspire others to live their dreams.  In addition to photography, Ronia is also a full time level 2 PMBI mountain bike guide and a level 2 CASI snowboard instructor.

No stranger to video Robin does a lot of work for BC Bike Race as well as the Search & Rescue TV series.  Owner of "Wildland Media, a professional team based out of Vancouver, BC that specializes in documentary and corporate video production. They manage content creation from pre-production and story development, through to delivery and distribution." You will notice, Robin pops up everywhere and captures all the special moments and has the best time doing it!
