Yes, everyone is welcome! Some previous riding & fitness is helpful as BC is a tough place to ride but we are happy for anyone to join, the more people on bikes the better!!!
BC as you may or may not know is no California! But our weather is what makes the forest, the dirt & the trails so fantastic! Plan on 8-18 degrees during the day and. possibly down to 2 degrees at night. Not as cold as it sounds. Bring a warm puffy & toque for beside the fire!
We will have Post ride apres for everyone! The rest of the meals you will need to bring. We will have food trucks onsite for breakfast and dinner. When they are confirmed, we will update our schedule!
We are planning to have food trucks onsite and will send you more details when we know more to help you with your meal planning. Cumberland has some great little places to eat as well..... Can you say Tacos! Biblio Tacos is the bomb!
This is totally up to you and your riding style. Analog or Ebike, your choice! Just let us know when you register so we know how many of each group we have coming. Cumberland has it all! A little to a lot of squish is always a good thing but if you're into full XC bring on the light travel bike & wait for us at the top of the hill! Cumberland does not have shuttling, sorry :(
Pick the group that you think best suits your riding ability! Don’t worry though, in the new year, we will send out a detailed survey to get more info from you to make sure we have the right group options and variety for everyone signed up!
You must be 19+ to be able to participate at RIDELAB.
There will not be any set clinics but some groups will be more focused on sessioning features. You can also sign up for drops and some other skills specifically (TBD as we get closer) Naturally as guides, they will always be willing to give tips to help everyone improve their riding!
Not for this event. You will be too busy having fun that you don’t want to worry about your fur baby!
We celebrate and welcome female-identifying individuals as well as Queer, Transgender, Non binary folks.
We do have limited volunteer spaces so email lisa@ridelab.ca to find out more about volunteering options!
You bring your tent (2-4 person tent) and we will assign you a space in the campsite upon arrival. If you want to have your tent near friends - let us know when you register who they are so we can place your group together.
