She has a background and formal degree in Tourism & Marketing and has years of experience executing events and creating kick ass and innovative community fundraisers. Her current role for the past 11 years is Marketing Manager at BC Bike Race.

Lisa is calm, collected, and always positive no matter the situation! She has over 20 years of event experience wearing many different hats which includes her current role with BC Bike Race as Business Manager . Lisa has been mountain bike riding for many years and recently added gravel to her portfolio to add some diversity to her forest escapes!
RIDELAB is partnering with Indigenous Women Outdoors (IWO) to support its community members in gaining greater visibility in the mountain biking industry. IWO is a non-profit organization that strives to support, encourage, and provide Indigenous women and non-binary folx living on the territories of the sḵwx̱ú7mesh, líl̓wat, səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm nations with low barrier access to outdoor recreation. IWO fosters opportunities for Indigenous women to become leaders in the outdoor industry to share their knowledge, their connection to the land, and their lived experiences with the greater public.
All mountain bike trails in Squamish sit on the territory of the Squamish Nation, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw. The Squamish Off-Road Cycling Association SORCA is a mountain bike association with a mission statement of, Managing the maintenance and expansion of the mountain bike trail network, Advocating on behalf of mountain biking with government and industry. They are a volunteer driven organization with more than 2600 members. SORCA is dedicated to building a respectful and reciprocal relationship with all of the Squamish Nation.
Each Rider from RIDELAB will be contributing
$5/day to SORCA
RIDELAB will be donating a portion from every paid participant to the Ride Like a Girl program. Ride Like a Girl (RLG) is a BC-based not-for-profit program that offers young female mountain bike athletes mentorship, community connection, and growth opportunities. RLG carefully matches mentees with outstanding and experienced mentors, organizing community events, and fosters healthy relationships among program participants.
